Move Management
In essence, Move Management means that we will manage some or all aspects of your upcoming home move.
We say “some or all” because we want to give you the flexibility to tell us exactly how you want Your House to Home to support you, what you specifically want us to manage.
Yes, some of our customers ask us to take care of everything. Some have even left the country for work or on holiday and returned when we have finished their move for them! Others already have existing tasks in hand but might need specific help with Downsizing or Unpacking, for example.
Based on our initial site visit with you, we would advise you on (and quote for) specific aspects of your move we could manage and exactly what this means. Our remit can be as big or small as you require, wherever you need our support and resources, we will be with you every step of the way.
Popular services or tasks we manage include:
Overseeing the entire move, liaising with all 'partners', being your main point of contact and making sure everything gets done as you expect
Taking care of the endless conversations and phone calls you will need to have with: utility companies, Sky / Virgin / BT, Broadband and telephone companies
Taking a full inventory of your current home so we can replicate the layout of your furniture and other important items in your new home
Working with and directing on your behalf the removal firms and estate agents
Sourcing / recommending 'tradespeople' - who are trusted and referenced
Sourcing, buying, and assembling furniture and furnishings - at your direction
